The ÷ Tour is the third world concert tour by English singer-songwriter and musician, Ed Sheeran, in support of his third studio album, ÷ (pronounced "divide"). The tour is set to begin in Turin, Italy on 17 March 2017. 93 dates have been announced so far taking place across Europe, Latin America, and North America. Ticket sales started on February 2, 2017.

Background

The morning of January 26, 2017, through Sheeran social networks, the dates of the tour for Europe were announced. Hours later through the same networks were announced the dates for Latin America. Sheeran made his debut in countries such as Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. Tickets for the tour sold out quickly, prompting new dates to be added in London, Turin and Santiago. On 13th February 2017 it was announced that he would be part of the line up for a week of gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust taking place on the 28th March 2017. On February 22, 2017, Sheeran announced through his social networks that Anne-Marie and Ryan McMullan would be the opening acts for the UK and European dates. On March 8, 2017, Sheeran announced the North America leg would start on June 29, 2017, until October 6, 2017.
